Detective Krause was one of the members of the investigative staff randomly selected for screening. On January 8, 2024, Detective Krause's results came back positive for a banned substance. Detective Krause was suspended and ultimately resigned in lieu of disciplinary action. In accordance with the Attorney General's Law Enforcement Drug Testing Policy (Revised February 2023), the Central Drug Registry was notified of this matter.
