Where to send what

• A fact on a page is wrong. Use the corrections page. It asks for the source note you are disputing, which is what the check is run against, and it explains what happens when the official record itself is in error.
• A question about the data or the method. The methodology page answers most of them, including what each source covers and what it does not. Anything it leaves open can come here.
• Press and research.Every figure on the site can be quoted with the citation it carries; the "Cite this page" block on each record page gives the reference. For bulk use, the downloads page has the complete files and a data dictionary, and questions about them are welcome here.
• Tips and feedback. A record that seems to be missing, a page that reads wrong on your phone, a source the site should be using: all of it is useful.

What to expect

Messages are read by the project and answered by email. Correction requests are checked against the cited source record and answered with the outcome; other messages are answered as time allows. The project does not offer legal advice and cannot change the underlying government record; the corrections page explains where a change to the official record has to be requested.

About the form

The form is processed by Netlify Forms and collects a name, an email address, a subject, and a message. Submissions are kept only as long as it takes to answer them. The privacy policy has the detail.
