On May 12, 2024, an Internal Incident Report was generated by a member of this agency who stated that they felt sexually harassed by SLEO I Vialet. An internal investigation was conducted. SLEO I Vialet admitted to having a conversation with the officer and also admitted to prefacing the conversation by asking if he could ask an inappropriate question. During his statement to internal affairs, SLEO I Vialet gave an explanation to his understanding of the word inappropriate as being anything not work related. He further explained that he did not believe that what he said to the other officer was sexual. The other officer, however, did feel sexually harassed by the comments and as such, the charges were sustained.
