Jersey City police in a patrol car saw a black 1997 Toyota Camry speed through a red light at Audubon Avenue and John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Police gave chase and the Toyota twice feigned at pulling over only to race off again, police said. The driver lost control, slammed into the side of the General Plumbing and Supply building, and burst into flames, police said. One man was killed, another seriously injured.
