In October of 2025, an internal affairs complaint was received from a citizen and an investigation was initiated which revealed that a year prior, Officer Rauch had sent images of a police-owned computer screen displaying information from the police database to members outside this agency in an attempt to help them through a personal situation. This was in direct violation of the rules and regulations specified above. A ten day unpaid suspension was imposed along with the removal from the succeeding year’s Detective Bureau assignment.
