The criminal complaint alleges Detective Lancaster threatened an adult male after the male was observed in contact with a minor. On January 22, 2024, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office remanded the criminal complaint to municipal court for a harassment offense. On March 25, 2024, the harassment offense was dismissed. Upon the conclusion of the Internal Affairs Investigation, a settlement agreement was reached resulting in a 20 day suspension (10 days to be served and 10 days held in abayance) as a result of the sustained finding for violation of department policy 4.1.2 (Action Off-Duty).
