On April 06, 2024, around 01:25 am Ofc. Michael Zuniga was conducting radar enforcement on RT 40. During this traffic enforcement, he clocked a Black Honda going over 100 MPH inbound into Atlantic City. In an attempt to catch up to the vehicle, Ofc. Zuniga violated ACPD Vehicle Pursuit Policy by pursuing a vehicle that committed only a MV violation despite having the tag information of the Black Honda, not immediately notifying communications of the pursuit and conducting a pursuit at excessive speeds in a high volume area of motor vehicles and pedestrian traffic (Pacific Ave).
