The purpose of the text were to complain about the Lieutenants actions and enlist his help to convince the Lieutenant to change her mind about a decision she had made at work. Crawford sent his supervisor's spouse text messages that were irresponsible and unprofessional and as a result he was found guilty by a hearing officer and received a 20 day suspension.
