On January 11, 2024, Sheriff’s Officer Rodriguez reported to 0830hrs Roll Call at the Criminal Courthouse in full uniform, without his duty weapon. His issued duty weapon was left by him in a Jury Room on the 5th Floor of the Criminal Courthouse. His duty weapon was in his personal bag, fully loaded, and in a Blackhawk holder. The Jury Room is on the secure side of the building; however, it is still accessible to civilian employees.
