On 01/15/23, P.O. Shahzad Hashmi #2673 responded to a Domestic Violence call for service, whereby he discovered the victim had been sexually assaulted. While on the scene, he failed to provide police services to the victim after she repeatedly stated she was raped, threatened, physically assaulted, and requested a restraining order. He displayed an overall lack of empathy for the victim and failed to offer offer the victim a restraining order. The victim was not provided medical assistance and/or an opportunity have a Sexual Assault Response Team alerted, thereby preventing the collection of evidence. Additionally, P.O. Hashmi submitted an untruthful investigation report.
