Synopsis as reported by the agency

On October 4, 2023, Sheriff's Officer Ivan Addu #202 was ordered by his immediate supervisor, that he had to work an overtime shift on October 5, 2023, from midnight to 800AM. The overtime shift was a hospital detail in Camden to guard a prisoner who had been admitted. Ofc. Addu informed the Sergeant that he was not going to argue about this, but that he would not work the detail. At that time the supervisor ordered Ofc. Addu to complete a report explaining why he was refusing the order to work the detail. On the morning of October 10, 2023, Ofc. Addu had not submitted the required report to the Sergeant. The Sergeant again ordered Ofc. Addu to complete the report and submit it to him by 1PM Ofc. Addu informed his supervisor he was not going to complete the report.

Compensation and pension

No confident pension match found. This site links a pension record to a named officer only when the name and the exact employing agency both match a New Jersey Treasury record. Where that bar is not met, nothing is shown rather than a guess. See methodology for how these matches are made and what is withheld.
