On November 2, 2025, Officer Will was assigned to Housing Unit 3 and failed to perform his duties. Officer Will allowed multiple cell doors to remain open, which allowed two inmates to enter an unassigned cell. Less than (5) five minutes after the inmates exited the above mentioned cell, the same two inmates were involved in an altercation in the Dayroom. These actions represent serious safety and security violations. This is not Officer Will’s first offense of this nature. Correctional Police Officers at the CMCSO work 12 hour days.
