Synopsis as reported by the agency

On or about May 16, 2023 Officer Dunne was arrested and charged with violating N.J.S.A. 39:4-50, Driving while Intoxicated. He was operating a motor vehicle while off duty and was stopped on the Garden State Parkway for his inability to maintain his lane. He was swerving between lanes. On October 4, 2023 Dunne pled guilty in Municipal Court to violating NJSA 39:4-50, Driving while Intoxicated and was assessed the mandatory fines and penalties. His conduct is in violation of the administrative code, a public employee, is administrative misconduct and a violation of Agency Rules and Regulations.
