Officer Rengifo failed to activate his body worn camera for any of assaults. In addition, Officer Rengifo failed to keep his equipment secure and left his OC spray and radio unattended on the officer's desk. Officer Rengifo signed a settlement agreement on this matter on April 15, 2024.
