An investigation conducted by the New Jersey Department of Correction’s Special Investigations Division (SID) revealed that SCPO Kuzmicz owned four high capacity thirty round .556 magazines and three high capacity, thirty round .762 magazines. The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office declined to pursue criminal charges regarding the firearms confiscated from SCPO Kuzmicz. On 11/6/25, SCPO Kuzmicz signed a settlement agreement for a 60-day suspension.
