A Special Investigations Division investigation revealed that on 7/10/25, Garden State Youth Correctional Facility’s Senior Correctional Police Officer (SCPO) Paul Rinck failed to author Special Custody Reports involving a use-of-force incident with an incarcerated person. SCPO Rinck admitted that he did not author the required reports and failed to contact his supervisor about the incident. SCPO Rinck signed a settlement agreement for 15-day suspension on 10/2/25.
