On 2/3/25, at 1350 hours Senior Correctional Police Officer (SCPO) Yazmine Sitaras was observed leaving the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility without having received authorization from the shift commander. Her direct supervisor was unaware she had left and abandoned her post. She failed to complete a partial shift completion form or get a “sick number”. SCPO Sitaras signed a settlement agreement for a 15-day suspension on 11/3/25.
