Synopsis as reported by the agency
On 11/22/24, East Jersey State Prison's Correctional Police Major (CPM) Zsuzanna Miller was ordered to serve disciplinary charges that included major disciplines with removal sanction. SCPO Miller received instructions on how to serve certain charges and to schedule a Loudermill hearing. On 11/25/24, when CPM Miller was asked about the status the disciplinary charges and the Loudermill hearing, CPM Miller stated that she was unaware if the employee would appear for their Loudermill Hearing and that she was not advised to call anyone regarding it. CPM Miller was informed that she was in fact told to notify the employee their Loudermill hearing. CPM Miller stated, "Well the union knew." CPM Miller signed a settlement agreement for a 15-day suspension on 2/7/25.
